What surprised me the most in this book?
What surprised me the most was the way she praises milk, compares the various types of diet based on current scientific articles, clearly explains the intermittent fasting, the use of supplements in vegan and vegetarian diets, and discusses the sinfulness of chocolate.
This is a book that exceeds all expectations! Isabel do Carmo is an endocrinologist with a vast experience and knowledge in the food area. She was director of the Endocrinology Service of HSM until 2013. Responsible between 2005 and 2013 for the coordination HSM/Health Centers of Lisbon North.
